Mexican President Felipe Calderon inaugurated the world's highest suspension bridge called the Bridge Baluarte. This bridge stretches over the cliff in the mountains of the Sierra Madre which has a depth of 403 meters.

This bridge will be part of a new causeway that cuts the distance between Mazatlan on the Pacific Coast inland to Durango in Mexico. The bridge is so high, so it fits the Eiffel Tower is under bentangannya.

"This project will bring together people in northern Mexico was like before," said President Calderon in the inauguration ceremony on Thursday, January 5, 2012 it.
